  7.     TechPlot offers more advanced editing
  8. commands that let you copy and paste not
  9. only plot object but also the entire graph
  10. to and from different Plot View windows.
  11. That is, you can copy a graph from one Plot
  12. View and then paste it to another position
  13. in the same Plot View or in a different
  14. Plot View.

  16.     All plot editing commands use the Plot
  17. Clipboard to interchange plot information.
  18. The Plot Clipboard is the magic behind plot
  19. cutting and pasting.  It is a special
  20. object storage place that holds plot
  21. information that you have cut or copied, so
  22. you can paste it elsewhere.

  25. █  Cut plot objects
  26.  
  27.     To cut a plot object, you must first
  28. select the plot object, then use the
  29. Edit | Cut command to remove the selected
  30. plot object (or group of objects) from a
  31. Plot View window, and place the plot
  32. information  in the Plot Clipboard.  You
  33. can paste that plot object(s) into any
  34. other Plot View window or somewhere else
  35. in the same Plot View window by choosing
  36. the Edit | Paste command.  The plot object
  37. remains in the Plot Clipboard so that you
  38. can paste the same object many times.

  41. █  Copy plot objects

  43.     To copy a plot object, you must first
  44. select the plot object, then use the
  45. Edit | Copy command to place the selected
  46. plot object in the Plot Clipboard, leaving
  47. the selected plot object intact.  You can
  48. then paste that plot object into any other
  49. Plot View window by choosing the
  50. Edit | Paste command.

  55.     To paste a plot object from the Plot
  56. Clipboard, you choose the Edit | Paste
  57. command.  This command puts the plot object
  58. from the Plot Clipboard into the current
  59. Plot View window at the cursor position.

  64.     To delete a plot object, you must first
  65. select the plot object, then use the
  66. Edit | Delete command or press <Del> key to
  67. remove the selected plot object from the
  68. Plot View window.  This action does not
  69. place it into the Plot Clipboard.
